ohheymow

Terms of service

Effective date: October 24, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Rowan Tree Solutions LLC for using ohheymow: the app in a web browser at app.ohheymow.com, the Android app and this website. By creating an account or using ohheymow, you agree to them, so please read them. If you use ohheymow for a business, you accept them for that business and confirm that you are allowed to.

Who we are

ohheymow is made and run by Rowan Tree Solutions LLC, an Ohio limited liability company. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company, and “you” means the person or business using ohheymow.

The service

ohheymow is a weather app for outdoor work: mowing, snow removal and looking after your own home. At the places you save, it shows the weather now, the forecast, the radar, estimates of the rain and snow that have fallen, and official warnings. Paid plans add warnings before rain. ohheymow works in a web browser at app.ohheymow.com, and an Android app is in testing. It covers places in the United States.

We keep improving ohheymow, so its features can change. Something marked “Coming soon” is not part of any plan until it is released. We work to keep ohheymow running, but it can be interrupted, for example for maintenance or when a supplier or the internet has a problem.

If an outage affects your paid service, email us and we will review it with you. Any remedy is decided case by case; an outage does not automatically earn a refund. Your legal rights and our refund policy still apply.

ohheymow, its software, its name and its look belong to us or to the companies we license them from. These terms let you use ohheymow; they do not give you ownership of it.

Accounts

Free and paid plans

The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans add more, such as warnings before rain at more places. What each plan includes, and what it costs, is on the Plans page in the app when you buy and on the pricing page of our website. Prices are in US dollars, and Paddle works out any sales tax at checkout. What the Free plan includes can change over time.

A paid plan belongs to your ohheymow account, so it works wherever you sign in to that account.

Automatic renewal and how to cancel

Paid plans are subscriptions. Each one renews automatically at the end of its billing period, every year for a yearly plan and every month for a monthly plan, and Paddle charges the payment method you gave it, until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time. On the Plans page at app.ohheymow.com, press Cancel renewal, or use the link in Paddle’s receipt email. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then your account moves to the Free plan.

If we cannot check a renewal with Paddle because that check is unavailable, a plan we have already verified keeps working for up to three days after its last paid-through date. If we still cannot verify the renewal then, your account moves to the Free plan until we can. This does not apply to a new purchase we have not verified, a cancelled plan or a failed payment. If your card is declined at renewal, paid features end when your paid time ends; there is no extra grace period.

Deleting your ohheymow account does not cancel a paid plan, so cancel its renewal first; the app asks you to. Refunds follow our refund policy.

Price changes

We may change our prices. A new price never applies to a period you have already paid for. If the price of your plan is going to change, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the renewal it first applies to, so you can cancel before then if you do not want to pay it.

Paddle, our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you buy a plan, you buy it from Paddle, under Paddle’s buyer terms. Paddle takes your payment details directly; we never see your card number. For a question about a charge, a receipt or a refund, use the link in Paddle’s receipt email, or email us and we will help.

Acceptable use

Use ohheymow lawfully and fairly. Do not:

We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, as described under Ending your use or your account.

For security, fraud and abuse prevention, ohheymow checks that requests to our service come from the genuine ohheymow app, using Firebase App Check from Google: on Android through Google Play’s integrity check of the app and the device, and in a web browser through reCAPTCHA. Google handles this information on our behalf, as our privacy policy explains.

Forecasts and warnings can be wrong

Weather is uncertain. Forecasts, radar, rain and snow totals, the minute forecast and ohheymow’s warnings are predictions and estimates, not guarantees. They can be wrong, late, incomplete or missing, for example when a data source, the internet, your phone, its notification settings or our service has a problem. Snow amounts are estimates from radar and temperature, not readings taken at your place.

Use ohheymow to help plan your work, together with your own judgment. ohheymow is not for safety-critical decisions or emergencies. For dangerous weather, always follow official warnings from the National Weather Service and instructions from local authorities. In an emergency, call 911.

Weather and map data from others

ohheymow shows information from others: forecasts, official warnings, radar and rain estimates from the National Weather Service and NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration); the minute forecast, Powered by Rainbow.ai; and map, aerial photo and address services. We pass this information on as its owners publish it. We do not control it and cannot promise that it is accurate or available, and its owners’ terms may also apply. Our data sources page lists each source and its terms.

Limitation of liability

We provide ohheymow “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond those in these terms, including any promise that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, income, customers, work or data, or for losses that come from relying on a forecast, estimate or warning. Our total liability to you for all claims about ohheymow is limited to the greater of what you paid for ohheymow in the 12 months before the claim arose and 50 US dollars.

Some laws do not allow these limits. Where such a law applies, these limits apply only as far as it allows.

Ending your use or your account

You can stop using ohheymow at any time and delete your account under Settings → Account. Cancel a paid plan’s renewal first.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect ohheymow, the people who use it or others. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your records. If we close your account when you have not broken these terms, we will refund the unused part of any paid period.

If we ever decide to stop offering ohheymow, we will tell you ahead of time, stop all renewals and give you time to export your records, and you will not pay for any time after the service ends.

The parts of these terms that by their nature should last after your account ends, such as the limits of liability and Ohio law, keep applying.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as ohheymow changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change matters to you, for example to your plan or your rights, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using ohheymow after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, cancel renewal and stop using ohheymow before then.

Ohio law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio and of the United States, without regard to rules on conflicts of law. If we disagree about something, please email us first; most problems can be solved that way. A dispute that cannot be settled will be decided by the state or federal courts in Ohio, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.

These terms, our privacy policy and our refund policy, with Paddle’s buyer terms for purchases, are the whole agreement between you and us about ohheymow. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part straight away, we can still enforce it later.
